Opening hours

Tue–Fri 11.00–17.00, Saturdays 11.00–15.00, Sundays and Mondays closed.
Closed on Midsummer, 24 June–28 June 2021.

Due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in Finland, hand sanitizer is available for the visitors and the staff takes care of the safety measures and distances.


Mikkeli Centre of Photography is located in the centre of Mikkeli, at the university campus area.
It is just a few minutes away from the hotels and shopping centres of the market square.

Admission fees

Adults: 6 €
Students, pensioners, draftees, unemployed: 3 €
Children under 18, press, members of the Artists' Association of Finland, members of the Centre and student groups with a teacher: free admission.

Accessible art centre

All the galleries and facilities are accessible. Accessible toilet and elevator.


You may leave your car on Puistokatu, Lönnrotinkatu or Otto Manninen's Street.
For those coming by a charter bus it is recommended drop off the passengers on Puistokatu or Otto Manninen's Street. Our inner yard is too small for buses.
